As an advocate and performer of 20th and 21st century music, Kevin has commissioned several works for the guitar, supporting emerging contemporary composers and contributing to growing the diverse repertoire of guitar music.

His performances include a series of new works for solo guitar from award winning composers such as; Jay Capperuald, Rory Comerford, Richard Greer, and Ninfea Cruttwell-Reade.

Kevin’s diverse history of listening and musical exploration has lead him to venture into composition of instrumental-rock and ambient musics through collaborating with artists that offer seemingly incompatible musical languages, including STRATA frontman and drummer Graham Costello, Kinbrae duo cornetist Mike Truscott, jazz-vocalist Georgia Cécile, violinist Abigail Young, and pianist Luigi Pasquini.

The culmination of Kevin’s personal and artistic life has led to his debut album, Future Relics, self-published as a limited edition cassette tape as well as digital formats. The album is a convergence of personal and musical histories that intertwine in honest and transparent representation of a Kevin’s artistic life. The soundworlds heard on Future Relics shift from ambient recollections to cosmological mediations to dystopic post-rock, each texture and track seamlessly interwoven over a two-sided record.
